Had a very pleasant stay. We booked a king size bed room. It was very clean with relatively modern finishes. Hotel staff was also very friendly when it comes to supplying extra toiletries, giving out waters and local directions. A very pleasant stay overall. An improvement that the hotel could possibly make is maintaining cleaner corridors. When I first took the elevator up and was walking through the corridors on the way to my room, I was expecting the room to be bad because of how filthy the corridors look. So it was to my surprise that the room quality is actually very good. This hotel also have easy access to the train station and a lot of good food around Chinatown. High recommend!

Incredibly kind and accommodating staff. The room was surprisingly quiet and thoughtfully designed—compact yet efficient, with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the real work desk, which made working from the room an absolute breeze. I do wish there had been Chromecast or access to streaming platforms like Netflix or YouTube, instead of only local TV channels like the most of Hyatt brands in NYC. We ended up watching a movie on our laptop rather than using the big screen. That aside, the complimentary coffee was great, and the views from both the room and the rooftop bar were amazing. Plus, there’s delicious Chinese food all around—definitely a bonus!

The location of this hotel is amazing! If you want easy access to the best restaurants in Chinatown, this is the place to be! The hotel room itself was quiet and very clean. We had a great view from the 20th floor. I really liked the inside decor as well - It made me forget this was a Hyatt property. I've stayed at different Hyatt's & Hiltons in midtown & upper Manhattan over the years, but this hotel/location is now at the top of my list. The front desk team was kind and accommodating with holding our luggage's upon both check-in & check-out. This will be my new top choice hotel when I visit the city!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at this hotel. From the moment I walked in, Jordan was absolutely amazing in accommodating me in every way possible. That evening, I spent time in the Rooftop Bar where I was given amazing service and welcomed warmly. The view from my room was absolutely unmatched. As I stepped out for the evening, Sig made sure I had great suggestions on where to go and made my breakfast ordering a breeze. I can honestly say that I was somewhat concerned when I originally read the reviews about the hotel, but I have never been more pleased with a stay at any Hyatt property, and I have been to thousands. Great job everyone! I will definitely be back!

Absolute wonderful staff here! I can't say enough about them. First, when we arrived they heard it was my husband's first time and placed us on the 20th floor. Which, was very nice. But did you know their rooftop bar is a BAR that plays loud, thumpy bass music, well past midnight? Lol we didn't. We tried to last in it, only made it two nights. Then, we moved rooms. Second, when we moved rooms, we left all of my clean clothes in a drawer. The staff worked hard to find them, at 11 pm, on the housekeeping managers desk. Third, they held our luggage when we had a late flight. I really enjoyed our stay here in the Lower East Side The room was spacious enough for two of us. The shower had good water pressure, and hot water. Nice view (with an odd number room at least). It's right by Chinatown and Little Italy. 10 mins away from some of the best food IMO. I'd stay here again and recommend without hesitation

I spent one night at Hotel 50 Bowery and had a really wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located right at the famous intersection of Canal Street and Bowery — the very spot immortalized in The Lumineers’ song “Ho Hey” (“I’d be standing on Canal and Bowery…”). It’s also directly across from a bus stop, which made getting around super convenient. It would have been easier if the metro station were closer. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They were very accommodating with my check-in and throughout my entire stay — right up to departure. Their warmth really made me feel at home in the middle of bustling NYC. I stayed in the Family Suite on the 3rd floor. The room is very spacious (especially by New York standards!), comfortable, and well-appointed. The view isn’t a full panoramic one, but it’s still pleasant and gives a nice feel of the neighborhood. The absolute highlight was the rooftop bar (The Crown) on the 20th/21st floor. The almost 360° view over the city is breathtaking — truly impressive, especially at night with the skyline lights. It’s one of the most beautiful rooftop experiences I’ve had in New York. Overall, a fantastic hotel with excellent service, a cool historic vibe, and an unbeatable rooftop. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily return!

The hotel offers breathtaking views of the New York City skyline, and its location is ideal, just a short walk from the Brooklyn Bridge with easy access to vibrant neighborhoods like DUMBO and the heart of Chinatown. The rooms are stylish, spacious, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that make the stay feel extra special. The rooftop is a true highlight, offering panoramic views that are perfect both day and night. What stood out most was the quality of service. This is my 3rd or 4th time staying here. My family and I love staying at this hotel. The hotel is very clean, convenient location to check out so many great places to eat, and great staff. The woman, May at the reception desk was very courteous and friendly. We got an earlier than expected check-in and a great view of the Manhattan Bridge from our room. I highly recommend this hotel.
